Unpaid hold tickets are referred to as block tickets. Some terms for a block ticket are itinerary, phony ticket, or aircraft reservation. The complete name of the passenger, the origin and destination, the traveler’s full name, and all other flight information are contained in ticket service. The main distinction between a confirmed flight ticket and a bogus ticket is that the former has already been paid for, while the latter has not and is still pending. A ticket is a phony block ticket if its PNR is invalid and cannot be checked on the airline website.
