Italian Style Amarone

Description

Amarone is a full bodied red wine from the Italian region of Veneto produced using the appassimento winemaking process. In this technique the grapes are dried out before fermentation starts and produces a complex wine that will be rich in flavour with notes of dried fruit, chocolate and spice. Lastly Amarone wines are complex and age well even reaching hundreds of dollars per bottle from a true expert.
