Reckong Peo, the market plaza of Kinnaur district, is a sight to behold in the morning, as sunlight tears up the blue sky and creates blue-colored rays when it hits the ground. Peo is also the base for the locals’ spiritual tour to the sacred Shivalinga, an 80-foot-high rock pillar. Remember to explore the Nako village, which looks like a place straight out of a Disney cartoon.
